Winter is part of our seasonal treatment programme. We don’t offer it as a one-off treatment.
What we do on the winter visit
- A foliar feed with iron and seaweed. It strengthens and hardens the grass against the winter weather.
- Moss control. The iron in the feed targets moss over the winter.
- Disease prevention. Damp conditions make lawn diseases more common at this time of year.
- Organic seaweed. It frees up nutrients that have become trapped in the soil. You can upgrade to have seaweed on every visit, all year.
- Colour. We also focus on keeping the lawn green through the winter.
What you’ll see afterwards
Moss that has been treated turns black. That is the moss drying out and dying back.
We leave a card after every visit, telling you what we did and what to do next.
