Read moreA quick note on renovation work. We only do renovations for clients who have been with us for 3 to 6 months. This is especially true for topdressing and levelling work.
How it works, year by year
Your first visit
We treat the lawn on the first visit. In spring and summer we treat the weeds as part of that first treatment. In autumn and winter the weeds wait until spring.
While we're there we check the size of the lawn, in case the measurement we took from Google was out. Then we write up a quote for your future visits and give you advice on looking after the lawn.
Your first year
If you've watched our videos, you'll know we usually renovate a lawn with a topdress and overseed. We'd love to do this from the very start, but these jobs take time and we need to fit you into our rota.
So we usually start with lawn treatments. Then, when a slot opens up, we do the full renovation. That's usually 3 to 6 months after we get you started.
We do five treatments over the year, and it doesn't matter what time of year you start.
Spring and autumn are our peak seasons, so if you enquire then, you may be placed on a waiting list.
After the first year
From then on we move into maintenance. That's usually our five treatments a year, plus an annual aeration and scarify.

How our visits work
We visit roughly every 10 weeks. Because we intentionally limit our client list, we can keep our schedule flexible around the weather and apply each treatment in the right conditions, not on a fixed calendar date.

If you have a robot mower
We love lawns with robots. They mean less work for us!
All jokes aside, we look after some stunning lawns that are cut by robots, and we carry out the lawn treatments alongside.
Because a robot takes a little off every few days, those lawns need much less renovation work.
Does that mean your lawn won't need any extra work beyond the lawn treatments? It depends! We'll be able to tell you once we've seen your lawn.
Have your lawn featured on the channel
We're always on the hunt for interesting gardens to film.
The lawns in our videos are our clients' lawns. Filming is a big part of what we do, so we don't tend to take on lawns we can't film.
We respect your privacy. We film the lawn, not you. In our lawn videos we would never dream of saying where a garden is, and on our website we only ever name the area.
